An unhurried walk, moderate difficulty

Around 5 km on natural trails, at a relaxed pace with frequent stops to observe wildlife and take photographs. Distance varies with trail conditions and wildlife observation opportunities. Tell us the children’s ages and any mobility needs before confirming.

Boarding and landing take place directly on the beach. Bring sandals and be prepared to get your feet wet.

What to bring

  • Comfortable closed walking shoes; sandals for boarding and leaving the boat.
  • Light, comfortable clothes and a rain jacket or poncho.
  • Hat, sunscreen and insect repellent.
  • Reusable water bottle and a small backpack.
  • Camera and a waterproof bag for electronic devices.

Help protect the park

Do not bring food, disposable plastic bottles, alcohol, cigarettes or vaping devices. Follow your guide’s instructions and park rules.

How to confirm your experience

  1. Choose your date and add the participants and your contact details.
  2. Enter each participant’s name and nationality, and each child’s age. We need a Costa Rican ID or passport number to check availability. Enter it when requesting your booking or send it later by email or WhatsApp.
  3. A 50% deposit is required. The balance is due the day before the tour. Confirmation depends on the team’s arrangements and park permits.

Payment, changes and cancellations

  • The deposit is non-refundable.
  • Once park permits have been purchased, the date cannot be changed.
  • Cancellations less than 24 hours before the tour are non-refundable.

Plan ahead: entry depends on permits and daily capacity. Sending an enquiry does not confirm your place.

Is this experience right for you?

Tell us about your interests, the ages of children travelling with you, and any concerns about walking or the boat journey. We can help you decide whether this experience fits your group.

Before you decide

Will we see wildlife?

Wildlife is part of Sirena’s appeal, but animals move freely. No encounter or species can be guaranteed.

How does it differ from San Pedrillo?

These are different sectors. Compare the experience, terrain and logistics before deciding.

Can I stay overnight?

For an overnight visit, choose the 2 days and 1 night or 3 days and 2 nights Sirena tour. These are separate products.

Can children join this experience?

Tell us the children’s ages and how comfortable they are with walking and boat travel. We will review the chosen experience with you before you confirm; the child price category alone does not determine suitability.

Is this a confirmed reservation?

No. The team must review your date, park permits and the other components of your experience before confirming.

Will our group have a private guide?

Regular Corcovado tours run in shared groups. Request a private guide in advance, subject to availability and an additional quotation.
