Your fishing outing
Depart Drake Bay in the morning. The meeting point is provided when booking.
Fishing areas are selected according to the season, weather, ocean conditions and crew recommendations. You may encounter tuna, mahi-mahi and other sport fish; catches are not guaranteed.
For beginners and experienced anglers
No previous fishing experience is required. Difficulty varies and participation depends on sea conditions and the crew’s recommendations. Share your experience and group’s needs before confirming.
What to bring
- Sunscreen, hat and sunglasses.
- Lightweight sun-protective clothing and footwear suitable for a boat.
- Camera, reusable water bottle and a waterproof bag for belongings.
Before booking
Check the boat’s capacity for your group with the team. The price is for the service, not per person.
Personal expenses and additional services outside the programme are paid separately. Availability and booking conditions are confirmed before payment.
Start with your date, participants, contact details and chosen option: half day or full day. The team will then request the details needed to arrange the outing; no passport is needed in the initial enquiry.
Payment and cancellations
No deposit is required. Full payment is due the day before the tour. If you cancel at least 24 hours before departure, there is no penalty and any payment received is refunded. Cancellations less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable. Date changes are arranged with our team subject to availability.
For tours outside Corcovado, if the operator cancels before the activity starts because of unsafe weather, you can choose another date subject to availability. If the new date does not suit you, unprovided services are refunded, excluding non-refundable entrance fees disclosed before payment.

Does a full day mean offshore fishing?
That cannot be inferred from duration alone. Area, techniques and fishing focus must be listed in the agreed programme.
Will we catch more than on a half day?
More time does not guarantee a larger catch. Compare the changes in the plan and experience.
